An integrated OT solution,
Complete Operating Room Endoscopy is offered and
specified. The core unit of
the system is a central system and device management
unit which ensures the control of all medical
products integrated in the system by a central
touch panel in the direct access area (sterile
area) of the surgeon or by means of an autoclavable
remove control as well as user-independent voice
control.
Moreover, the system comprises
high-quality Endoscopy equipment for gynecological
and surgical laparoscopy as well as hysteroscopy,
etc. inclusive of a high-resolution autoclavable
progressive scan 3 CCD Endoscopy Camera, pump
with fluid management and fluid loss management.
The devices integrated into the overall system
can be controlled by means of the system control
and device management.
In order to ensure comprehensive
documentation for forensic reasons and as a
basis for the implementation of an electronic
patient file (EPA), a medical image management
system is integrated for image acquisition and
storage in DICOM 3.0 format as a basis for easy
and standardized integration into existing hospital
IT systems (KIS, RIS, PACS). DICOM Service Classes
for KIS, RIS, and PACS integration shall be
offered alternatively. The specified system
corresponds to the requirements on a medical
product for image diagnosis and is also suitable
and approved for X-ray image recording.
For specialized use in Minimal
Invasive Surgery the system is equipped with
a comfortable Endoscopy Pendant. The integration
into video routing and tele surgery specified
in the system is carried out easily and in a
user-friendly manner.
The operating table integrated
into the system meets all demands of laparoscopic
and/or hysteroscopy surgery and can be operated
by cordless touch screen control or autoclavable
remote control as well as voice control.
The system optionally can incorporate
a high frequency diathermy devise with CAN-BUS
interface to allow integration into the system
control concept. The unit shall be installed
at a ceiling supply unit for flexible use in
all surgical treatments.
In addition, a double OT lighting
system is incorporated which permits control
by the surgeon from the sterile area as well
by touch screen control or autoclavable remote
control and user independent voice control.
Furthermore the system is equipped with a separate
swivel arm to carry the HD (High Definition)
LCD monitors — double mounted - providing
the surgeon's optimal view for the Endoscopic
picture and guaranties a fatigue free working.
Another equipment feature
is the incorporated mechanical manipulator for
general and gynecological laparoscopic surgery,
which meets the demand in solo surgery. It allows
the surgeon for a highly precise operation and
control of the laparoscope.
The tele surgery system integrates
all image sources available in the operating
theater inclusive of the OT lamps and surrounds
cameras. The system can be controlled directly
within the surgical area as well as independently
and parallel to the control of the medical system
components by a touch screen in a central position
in the operating theater (nurse station). The
system ensures bidirectional video and audio
communication with potentially available conference
rooms in a clinic. In addition, the integrated
video conference system permits national and
international video conference setups for training
purposes.
